Rhipisalidopsis alba

I've only offered a few small plants of this unique white-flowering Rhipsalidopsis before, exclusively through Trademe.

What sets this Easter cactus apart are its dainty blooms – the smallest of all my Rhipsalidopsis varieties. Please take a look at the photos for size comparisons that really show the difference.

Its cladodes are also small and slender, much like those of the small pink Rhipsalidopsis. If you're already familiar with the delicate, thin shape of Rhipsalidopsis rosea cladodes, you'll immediately recognize what I mean. They're quite distinct from the larger, more rounded segments you typically see. While there are many variations of the pink Easter cactus, I'm still searching to see if this little white gem has similar relatives out there.

The rarity of this plant is reflected in its price. It has taken me many years of careful cultivation to nurture this plant to the point where I can finally share it with you.
